For many patients, their number one concern about going to the dentist’s office is the fear that their treatment will hurt.
We recognize this common concern, and we have taken a number of steps to make sure that you are comfortable throughout your visit.
We’d like to tell you a bit more about the steps we take to ensure that every visit to our Wilmington dentist’s office is comfortable for you.
1. We use digital imaging and intraoral cameras to identify problems as soon as possible.
Not only do these images help you avoid painful dental problems, they are also more comfortable than their older counterparts. The sensors used for digital x-rays are small and rounded for a more comfortable fit than traditional film, and the intraoral camera is about the size of a pen.
2. We offer same-day emergency treatment so that uncomfortable problems can be treated right away.
We are even available to help if you have an emergency outside of our usual office hours! Just give us a call and we’ll get you one of our four doctors so you can speak with someone about your emergency.
3. We use laser technology for easier, more comfortable treatment.
Advances in dental technology help make dental treatment more comfortable, more reliable, and more efficient. The dental laser is an option that allows us to perform many common treatments, including cavity repair and periodontal therapy, with greater comfort, less bleeding, and a shorter healing time.
We make sure that we are taking care of your family’s needs in a number of other ways as well. For instance, we have a Board Certified Pediatric and Special Needs dentist here on our staff. By having a specialist available at all times, we can make sure that your child gets precisely the right kind of care that he or she needs. We also make it easy for you to stick with the same dentist every time you visit. Building a relationship with your care provider is important, and we want to support your needs!
